Innovative education and valuable business practices
I was introduced to The Aji Network by a business partner in 1998, participating first in their Business Professional's Course and since 2000 in their ongoing LEIP (Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Power) program. As a commissioned salesperson during the first two years I increased my personal income by 50% as a result of applying my learning from the Business Professional's Course and then progressed through two promotions and similar income increases to manage a sales team that produced multimillion dollar product and services sales results for a leading San Francisco Bay Area technology services firm.
In 2005 I made a career transition to the financial services industry and since that time have earned the Certified Financial Planner designation, working as part of an 8 member team with a 35 year history of providing complete financial planning help to business owners, professionals and their families. Throughout this time, the Aji Network provided ongoing practical education about philosophy and strategies for working more effectively in business. As a student in this discourse, I have met and had the opportunity to study and learn with accomplished professionals from many industries, enhancing my ability to make highly valuable offers.
In my observation, Toby Hecht, Greg Scharnagl and Aji Network staff have demonstrated capacity to leverage technology to make competitive learning in business more accessible and effective than it has ever been, and my learning from Aji Network is helping me produce desirable situations in both my personal and professional life.
The Aji Network has been consistent in fulfilling promises that they have made to me as a student / customer, and I highly recommend that individuals serious about progressing in their careers in order to live a good life consider The Aji Network's innovative education offers.
William Tom, Mosher & Ellis
Pros: Practical, valuable business learning and focus on making realistic assessments in order to design and take effective action. Uncommon thinking and interpretations that can help you articulate and achieve your ambitions. Innovative use of technology in the domain of business.
Cons: None noted

BEST CHOICE I ever made for me & my business
I am a fashion stylist working in a highly competitive, survival of the fittest, global fashion environment, and by far, working with the Aji Network has been the MOST important learning I have EVER done for myself and my company. I am the sole proprietor of my own LLC and have a couple of employees on staff, as well as the best styling agency worldwide, CLM, as my sales team. My clients include US Vogue, GQ, and Teen Vogue as well as David & Victoria Beckham among others.
I applied for the Aji Network's Business Professional's Course and was accepted in 2007. At that time, I thought I was doing fine, I had a decent agent, good clients. I was on the path to hopefully have a successful career. Prior to my applying, my business partner at the time was doing the Business Professional's Course. I started to notice his shifts in thinking and doing far more powerful business deals. My conversations with him were becoming useful and applicable to my life, and we were able to create strategy's together to achieve what I wanted with my business. When he recommended I speak with Aji, I jumped at the opportunity to learn what my partner was embodying.
Quickly I realized after a conversation with my partner and then with Mr. Scharnagl at the Aji Network, I had a choice. I could go on doing business the way I always had and HOPE that my business turned out the way I wanted, or I could continue to learn, begin to really educate myself on what it fundamentally takes to succeed and be responsible for creating my company's success.
From the first homework assignment in the Business Professional's Course, I was able to directly apply my learning to my business and career. Immediately, I saw what was missing for me and my company (roles, tools, practices, good help), in what areas I was experiencing breakdowns, and how much I did not know about business. I am now in the Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and the accumulation of Power program otherwise known as LEIP. I work with what I am learning in Aji everyday for my business.
In the BPC, my income went up 300%. Yep, that's right folks, 300%!! That alone has made me a lifer with Aji. I am going to continue to work with Aji until I have ALL of Toby Hecht's distinctions, fundamentals and strategies completely embodied, memorized and at hand when ever I need them for my business. Since I have entered the LEIP program, my income is continuing to rise, 100% this year alone. In the midst of one of the most devastating recessions in America, my income increase to me is the ultimate value of this learning.
And why am I doing all of this education? Because I know now that in order to achieve my personal ambition which is a base savings of $15 million at retirement and an annual income of $600k +, I have to continue accumulating knowledge. And Aji is the most powerful place I have found to do that.
So yes, I highly recommend Aji.

A business education for the 21st century
I have been studying with the Aji Network for more than five years, since I found out about them in 2004. Initially, I began taking their Business Professionals Course mostly out of curiosity at an education for high-performing businesspeople that was based, in part, on Philosophy, Linguistics, and Cognitive Neurobiology. By the time I finished the two years, it had literally changed my life. I say this not in any religious or spiritual sense, but in the sense that I looked at what I was doing with my career in a completely different way, and have ever since.
I am the owner and CEO of HYDRANT, a consulting firm in San Francisco that I started a few months after beginning my study with the Aji Network. My decision to start the company had nothing to do with The Aji Network, but I quickly found that everything I was learning changed the way I was thinking about my business, and in particular what its purpose was in my life.
One small, but important, part of what the Aji Network teaches is how to answer the question for yourself: "How much money is enough to live a good life, and why?" Growing up relatively poor, I had absolutely no idea that you could answer this question, let alone what the answer might be. I've learned the question not only can be answered, but must be answered, especially if I was at all concerned with having a career that wasn't merely happenstance. The answer to that question has two parts: what I say is a good life for me, and then literally what that life costs to live in the place I want to live it, which for now, is San Francisco.
The purpose of my business, then, is to pay for that life now, and to accumulate enough money, invested sensibly, so that it can pay for that life's future costs when I retire. Once I got that straight, and understood that I didn't have the money I needed now, nor would I in the future given how much I had saved, even just to cover my basic survival expenses, I then had a very different challenge: how to compete well enough in the marketplace with my business to fix that problem.
I continue to study with the Aji Network to help me answer that new question, but meanwhile my net worth has increased more than 1000% (how's that for ROI?), and I am at least on track to take care of my basic survival needs in retirement now. This change in financial situation isn't because of anything magical that the Aji Network offers, but simply because I've taken what I've learned and changed the way that I manage my personal finances.
Now I'm in the process of doing the same thing with my company's revenues, with the help of what I am learning from the Aji Network. Their combination of business strategy and philosophy is unlike any business education offering I have seen available elsewhere, and is an important part of my continued and neverending education as a businessperson seeking to outperform "average" in the marketplace.
Pros: Geared towards businesspeople, extremely practical and pragmatic, unlike anything else out there
Cons: Expensive, but well worth it.

Principal
In 2004, I had been running my own law practice for 6 years and I was in complete despair about my capacity to actually build my business or produce enough income to take care of my family. I was struggling, on the verge of closing my business and looking for alternative employment when I was introduced to the Aji Network. They claimed their students increase their income on average of 80% over the two years of their Business Professionals Course, I increased mine by 198%. Today, I run one of the top law practices in the United States for technology and outsourcing transactions, and am an equity owner and business partner in two new ventures for applied technology company in DOD and automobile industries and a video game publisher for motion picture franchises.
From the day I signed up to engage in competitive learning with Toby Hecht’s Business Professions Course, I never realized how blind I was to my own ignorance and the weakness in thinking. When in law school, I had to “un-think” any common notions and method of analysis and assessment that was not conducive to powerful interpretations and persuasive argument---in short, the law school discourse taught me to think like a lawyer. In the Aji Network, the discourse of business professionalism has taught me to think like a top performing business professional, not just a lawyer. This shift has been noticed by very accomplished and successful multi-millionaires who not only respect my thinking, but are looking to me for help not just in the domain of law but also in the domain of strategy and business.
The most valuable lesson I learned from the Aji Network is that competitive learning doesn’t stop…ever. The rigor and velocity required to actually take care of my family and have sufficient wealth to just live a comfortable life is far in excess of what I originally believed. I was naive. Like many, I never thought about what I was doing or the consequences of me letting days, weeks, months and years slip by without a direction or ambition. I was a student in the Aji Network for about three years before I realized that I could not sustain or scale my business to the level required to take care of my family’s future. Although I could increase my revenues by 450% in 5 years, I could not build sufficient enterprise value in a service organization that consisted solely of myself.
In fact, it was through ethical practices, thinking with fundamental principles, and holding an uncommon philosophy that enabled me to build a much more powerful network and design new business opportunities which would help me start to accelerate income and position my family for wealth accumulation. The learning, and structures of Mr. Hecht’s strategies and knowledge has enabled me to think differently and design strategic business ventures with non-lawyer business partners that have the capacity to increase the velocity of my professional and financial goals.
The thinking and practices I have embodied in the Aji discourse has positioned me to take care of my family more effectively…by adopting a commitment of openness to learn, invest in my knowledge and seek superior wisdom and thinking to compete in the marketplace. This would never have occurred to me had I not been exposed to the Aji Network’s discourse. I would have probably been stuck working for someone else, making less money, having less autonomy and less capacity to save enough for retirement.
As a person serious about taking care of my wife of 11 years and my 5 year old son, I have no choice but the ensure that I am doing everything I can to take care of their future. I am eternally grateful to Toby Hecht, Greg Scharnagl and the Aji Network staff for what they have done for my family and I. They are truly invested in the success of their students, they practice what they teach, and I completely trust the sincerity of their commitment. It is reassuring to know that someone who has the proven accomplishment is supporting my family’s success, as the road of this responsibility and obligation is a difficult and arduous one.
